    12:35 am
So today two WLC sophomores ran faster in the 3200 than I ran as a senior. Tony and Jake, 9:54 and 10:00, to my 10:01. Damn, I think I moved from 4th to 6th all time at Central now.

I'm getting too old, I just wish I was fast again.

I'm ready for Christmas break. It's nice to be home for Thanksgiving, but I still have to go back to Mt. Pleasant on Sunday...

I wish I could spend my time hanging out with my friends.
I wish I could spend my time writing and filming movies.
I wish I could spend my time running 70 miles a week.
I wish I could spend my time in an architectural college, rather than at shitty CMU.

This weekend has seen a glimpse of that. I hung out Stef, Linds, and James, and hopefully some others. Ran some miles at the Rich. Played lots of video games. And I'm even playing hockey tonight...which is the one year anniversary of my teeth getting knocked out!! Knock on wood!

Congratulations to WLC XC for their 2nd place finish at Regionals qualifying them for the State Meet in Brooklyn this Saturday. They finished 7 points behind Milford, who is ranked in the nation. Only five guys on the team also, amazing. Four of them individually qualified for states, something I was never able to do. I'm so pumped for them. Roy and I will be heading out there either Friday night or Saturday morning to cheer them on.

The weather has suddenly changed. 60 degrees and cloudy, a bit humid, with a slight breeze. It is racing weather once again. But I can't help that realize I'm in the worst running shape I've been in in more than four years. I don't have track to live by anymore. Paying to run road races is what I must resort to now. Paying to run...yeah. It's time to get back to running, or else sub 16, will be nothing but a fantasy.

I remember what Christmas used to be like. I used to lay in bed on Christmas eve anxious about the next morning. Once I fell asleep, I would dream about the next morning and what awaited me. Long ago, I remember trying to stay awake or sneak up in the middle of the night to catch a glimpse of Santa. I even remember times when I heard noises on my roof and in my house that were never explained. But this year was different. Christmas eve came as just another day. It didn't feel like Christmas. We didn't even have snow. I lazily crawled out of bed at 11 and went to find what Santa had left me. Although we were blessed with snow, the feelings that I felt were so much different from the years past. However, this may have been my most memoriable Christmas. I appreciated many things that I had taken for granted. I'm learned what Christmas is truly about, and what it will someday be for my kids.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Well I'm sick of school, not sick of college, just sick of the damn classes.

3 weeks and counting of not running. I'm totally deprived...and the knee doesn't seem to be getting better.

Home this weekend for Halloween and the State Meet. Spend some time with Stef, Linds, and the boys. I miss my Linds! (there you go)

Next year, living in Kessler. After some random guy tried to sign up to live with us, we picked a damn room on the back of the building. Oh well, it'll be sweet. Kessler 314.

Go Wings, Go Pistons, Just Run.
